Hi Jlou, there is absolutely no harm in asking a gp to have a look at it, you would not be wasting their  time because that is what ou GP's are there for. They will either put your mind at rest or refer you to a dermatologist.

Hi Hassledmum! Thank you for your reply, I have such bad anxiety and one of my biggest fears is dying and leaving my kids without their mum I'm going to book an appointment with the doctor and get it checked just to be on the safe side Will keep you updated ️

I understand what it's like to worry when you have small kids, mine are grown up now and I still worry. health anxiety is a normal fear of the unknown so when you see your doctor some or all of your anxiety will be lifted. Call Monday if you can get through and see if you can get your appointment. sending you positive thoughts and best wishes

Hey! Thank you for checking up on me, I'm currently waiting for the doctors to get back to me so we can arrange a appointment. I'm feeling a bit nervous because after the last scab fell off another one has appeared again this morning in the same place so I know it's not from me hurting myself in any way I will keep you posted once the doctors have got back to me.

Quick update, I had my appointment with the doctor this morning and checked my mole and a few others to put my mind at rest and they have said it's nothing to worry about but to still keep an eye on things and if I have any more concerns then come back.
