I can tell from your post that you've made that you're feeling incredibly anxious at the moment ahead of your next appointment. It's understandable that you're worried. 

If you've not already done so then I'd really encourage you to give our team of nruses a call and talk things through with them. I'm sure they will be happy to offer any advice and support that they can. They're available Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm on 0808 800 4040. 

Hopefully, the breast care team will be able to give you some answers and reassurance soon.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer on the 30th of May 2022. My only symptom was a lump in my breast. No pain. No discharge. No orange peel skin. It wasn't until after my biopsy that the shape of my breast changed.  my areola looks inverted due to the lump. 

They did an ultrasound and realised it didn't look normal so then they did a biopsy right after. Once cancer is detected and diagnosed that's when I went in for more scans and tests to make sure it hasn't spread anywhere. Luckily it hasn't and I'm currently receiving chemo which is working and shrinking my tumour 

If your going for ultrasound they may or may not have to do a biopsy after, and if they do it doesn't always mean it's cancer. But be quick when it comes to things like this.
