I've been back and forth to the doctors since May with severe abdominal distension and pain, back ache, nausea, vomiting, extreme fatigue and bowel problems. A subsequent CT scan showed a large lesion on my pancreas which is causing a small bowel obstruction, and I'm now awaiting another CT scan of just my pancreas next week.
Can't help but think the worst - hard to stop thinking about it when I feel so poorly all the time and could sleep all day! And I'm reading in to everything - like the fact that I've been given an MDT nurse as a point of contact, which I know is given for people with chronic conditions.
And that the radiologist in his report suspected it was a cancerous or pre-cancerous tumour.
Don't really know if there's a point to this post other than I know people reading will have some of the same fears...
