My GP phoned this afternoon to say she'd like to refer me urgently for a CT scan, as the recent ultrasounds didn't show anything obvious. They are concerned as to why my bloods are high though and want a more thorough investigation. Do CT scans show more than ultrasounds? I told her about new symptoms that have started since I last saw her and she's marked it as urgent. Another anxious wait although I'm relieved I'm not being fobbed off
