Lump in breast

Hi 

I've had tender left Breast for just over a month , I now have a lump that's quite big , but it hurts when I press it or try and move the lump. I'm absolutely terrified it will be something sinister, 

I have read in certain places that breat cancer isn't painful but then I've also read it can be painful - 

has anyone had these symptoms or am I over reacting.

    I would call your doctor so that they can assess your lump, they can appear during your menstral cycle and be benign. They may refer you to the breast clinic for assessment as they seem to send most breast lumps to the clinic.
    Going to the clinic doesn't mean you have cancer there are many reasons for Breast  lumps/cysts that are quite benign and the clinic may just see you again to check it's no larger or gone.
