This happened to me a little while ago. Had an ultrasound, called back by GP and was referred under 2ww rule. Got a letter about a week later advising me to have a mri and endoscopy and then an appointment with a gastro consultant. During this time I googled it and worried myself sick about to the point where I was convinced it was bad news. Went to the consultant appointment to be told it was just a hemangioma and nothing to worry about. Try your best to keep positive as no matter what it is they will get to the bottom of it. I had ovarian cyst found during a colonoscopy and was referred on the 2 week wait , they were removed and benign. They should be sending an appointment shortly, write down any questions you may have as we always forget when we get there. Take someone with if you want to my surgeon last week said they are over Covid now, so relaxing the strict no extras in the hospital. hope you are seen soon
Thanks for the replies. I had a letter from consultant whilst waiting for MRI to say they need to investigate further. Am trying not to read too much into it.
