This happened to me a little while ago. Had an ultrasound, called back by GP and was referred under 2ww rule. Got a letter about a week later advising me to have a mri and endoscopy and then an appointment with a gastro consultant. During this time I googled it and worried myself sick about to the point where I was convinced it was bad news. Went to the consultant appointment to be told it was just a hemangioma and nothing to worry about. Try your best to keep positive as no matter what it is they will get to the bottom of it.
