Hi bud. You can get tests cheaply that dip and can test your urine. 

Blood in Urine is usually pink to red tho.

I've never had any other symptoms. I was just wondering whether you could tell me if I have anything to worry about if my urine culture result is fine?

Usually a urine culture gives answers of infection or blood. If you have other Symptoms aswel as blood can mean a number of things. Quite often a UTI. 

If you wee out pure bood,that's when you need to get checked out.  Even if it's a once off. Orange wee,you need to drink more. 

I'm similar age to you,and been having bladder problems for 15 years. I went to docs recently and blood was detected,trace amounts. The anxiety and stress got me bad,and they gave me an ultrasound there and then. All clear. 

If you are worried,talk to your GP about getting an ultrasound. Maybe a wait but would help with the anxiety.

When you said 'if you wee out pure bood' but bood you meant blood?

I meant Blood. So red or pink urine. 

Right thanks. I just wanted to ask one more thing. By weeing out pure blood, do you mean only blood? What if someone urinates and they think they've seen something but they're not sure?

The urine is mixed with the blood. The greater the amount of Blood the more red is it.

But you said someone would have to wee out pure blood for there to be a problem?

A urine culture test (quick dip) will pick up trace amounts of blood. So if there is anything there it would be picked up. A lab test picks up microscopic blood.

i recently had trace blood dectected in my urine,but the urine was still yellow. Had an ultrasound of my bladder and kidneys and they said all was normal.

when I was 18, I managed to get chamilidiya. Then,I peed out pure blood (by the looks of it). Honestly I was scared and didn’t know what to do!! But a Course of tablets sorted that.

so a urine test would pick up trace amounts of blood. But even if blood was detected,doesn’t nessarcy means something is wrong.

Visible or microscopic blood urine culture tests are reliable. If it was visible tho you would for sure notice it. It could be pink/red.

Oranage and yellow wee is normal. Drink more sounds like you are dehydrated.

Also, I recently gave a urine sample which means I weed into a bottle and gave it to reception at my GP's. The results haven't come back yet. Should the results reassure me?

The results will reassure you. May I ask what is it you are worried about?
