Hi,
I have previously posted on here before my ENT appointment which I had the other day.
I have been advised by the doctors that they want to remove my tonsils after one has been inflamed for over a month and two courses of antibiotics and a course of steroids have failed to make the swelling go down along with continuous other symptoms.
They advised at my ENT appointment that there is a small chance it could be lymphoma, as such the surgery has been booked for this coming Friday (six days from now) and they will be sending the lump for biopsy afterwards.
I am quite worried as I am sure you can understand, was just wondering if anyone could tell me about their experiences, whether it turned out to be lymphoma or not. think it would help me if I had an idea as to what I could expect.
How long did it take you to get a diagnosis?
Any help anyone can provide will be greatly appreciated!
