I went to Dr for pain in my shoulder lymph node area dr checked said felt no abnormalities or lumps but would refer me to have a mammogram due to my age I received letter next day and appt for emergency mammogram should I be worried
I agree with our moderator, Lucie. It is reassuring to know that your GP didn't notice anything untoward, but has played safe by arranging a mammogram for you. If I were in your shoes, I would feel happier knowiing that my GP was being cautious. Hopefully all will turn out well. How long do you have to wait for your mammogram?
