Hi darling, 

I haven't experienced this, but I've got a growth inside my mouth on my cheek.. size of a pea. I went to the drs Friday she did a physical exam and felt my neck, she then said I need a urgent referral for suspected head and neck cancer.

I had a phone call from the hospital today, appointment Thursday to see Oral maxillofacial surgeons. 
i felt my neck earlier and can feel a lump on the same side as the growth in my mouth! 
 

It's the not knowing!!

Sorry to hear about the worry you're going through with neck lump. I am in exactly the same position. Discovered neck lump end of Oct. Had bloods to check thyroid which came back clear and then had referral for ultrasound and biopsy. I totally convinced myself it was cancer, though I don't know what to think now. The consultant has made an apt. for 10 days time to discuss results, as opposed to sending diagnosis via mail. Am hoping this is a good sign?!

Best of luck with your tests, I hope it goes well. My advice is to stay away from Dr. Google in the meantime, though easier said than done!
