Pagets Disease

Morning all. I've just had a recent diagnosis of Pagets Disease.  I'm in turmoil and having real trouble getting my head around it. I've opted for a grisotti flap during surgery. Stupidly I've looked on Google and some of the images I've seen are horrible!! Has anyone had pagets who may be able to reassure me that I won't look deformed after surgery thanks in advance,  Donna

    It turned out to be a grade 3  DCIS which had spread to my lymph nodes.  I had a second surgery in February to remove all the lymph nodes.  

    I'm due to finish chemo on Friday followed by radiotherapy starting in August. 

    I'm also her2+ so have to have 3 weekly injection for a year.

    It's been a slog, I won't lie but it's doable.

    Hi Donna I hope your getting stronger each day and all the trauma from initially find out is becoming a distant memory. What were your signs and systems if you don’t mind me asking? I have experienced flaking sling and noticeable different lumping on my areole. There is also some yellow discharge. I don’t necessarily feel any lumps just tenderness. How have you managed through chemo? You sound like an absolute trouper ( although I’m sure at times you haven’t felt like it). Keep trucking through your doing amazing!! ️
