  • Hey Gypsy's

Cancer is always a word that sends all of us into a gibbering jelly. BUT, there is always 1 or 2 (:. Sometimes it is not as bad as it first appears.

Several of my family members have had the big C diagnosis. The most recent being my husband in July 20 with Oesophageal! He is now post treatment and 'visable disease free'

My Dad - prostate. 15 yrs ago. Had all the treatment and is still here , fit as a butchers dog.

My cousin- bowel. 10 yrs , treatment, still here. Fit as a butchers dog.

At this point you are probably thinking the absolute worst, and I know exactly how that feels. People told me back then ( on here) when I was having a meltdown that you don't know until you know everything. At the time , I think I was hoping people would say to me- " oh, don't worry, it is probably a mistake", that is what I wanted to hear.

For what it is worth, for me this was the absolute worst point, the not knowing- the full story.

And it is okay NOT to be okay. Tears etc are compulsory.

keep coming back- this forum has got me through a lot

    best wishes

    Hilts.
