I understand how you feel. I'm 41 in a similar situation but trying to keep things in proportion. I recently underwent a left side mastectomy with immediate DIEP flap reconstruction for DCIS (turned out to be DCIS with microinvasion) and I will have radiotherapy soon. 
 

I also have had some pains in my legs mainly shins but also thigh which has been worrying me. I mentioned this to the breast nurse and she did not seem to concerned. She said lots of things could cause the pain e.g I am runner and before diagnosis recently increased my distance or side effects from stopping medication I was previously taking. I might be different also as DCIS is unlikely to be invasive and my lymph nodes were clear. 

Also once I had my diagnosis I think I hyper focused on every ache and pain. 
 
This doesn't mean we should be blazé. I think you should definitely mention it to the doctor - After worrying  about this for a while I will be telling the oncologist when I speak to him on Friday. As much as I do not want to 'go there' I think I need to know what he thinks. It's unlikely to be something but I think the only way to address the worry is the face it head on. Hopefully for both of us it will put our minds at ease.

It's easier said than done, but try not to worry too much at the moment. I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer too and had a lumpectomy & sentinel node biopsy. Prior to the op the lymph nodes all looked ok but the biopsy identified cancer in one lymph node. Like you I have a job which involves long periods sitting down. I have recently been having really bad hip pain which has been keeping me awake at night so after cancer was found in a lymph node I convinced myself that I had secondary cancer which had spread to my bones. However, if cancer is found in a lymph node you would be given bone & CT scans to confirm whether it has spread any further and my bone scan identified that I had arthritis in the painful hip, not secondary cancer. So try to take one day at a time if you can and not rely on google searches which can cause added worry/anxiety. As per the above post, mention the hip pain to your nurse/consultant and they will hopefully be able to provide you with some reassurance. Hope your treatment goes well.
