Check out Living with Cancer

Hello,

To anyone newly diagnosed with cancer,  the world, as you know it stops and it feels like nothing will ever be the same again. You may be overcome with fear that stops you eating and sleeping. We all know, we've all been there

This forum is wonderful for getting advice and hearing about other experiences. Knowing you are not alone makes a big difference,

If you check out the Living with Cancer forum, I think you will be surprised and very pleased to hear lots of positive stories, not only about people who have survived and are now cancer free, but also about those who are living well and happily with their nemesis. This may take away some of the fear of the unknown and allow you to face your treatment from a better perspective.

Best wishes to anyone starting their journey into the unknown and scary world of hospital visits, waiting for information for what feels like forever and possibly unpleasant treatments.  I hope that you will be able to look back, as I am, and think it wasn't the end of the world, after all.

  • Hello Christine the Sheltie lady - lovely dog by the way!

Thank you for sharing this! And thank you for your kind words about our forum. It's very true what you say, that knowing that you are not alone here makes a huge difference. I am so glad that you are now able to look back at all that. You did amazingly and I am so glad you are doing so well. I am sure your words will be inspirational to many here who are embarking on a similar journey, as you put it eloquently, into the unknown.

    Best wishes,
