Newly diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma

Hi. My biopsy results have said I've got basal cell carcinoma with infiltrative and basosquamous components infiltrating. This is on my eyebrow. Was wondering if anybody else has had this diagnosis and what treatment they received. I've not spoken to a specialist yet as there is a very long wait, that's only to be expected with what's been going on. Maz

Hi,
A relative of mine had it and had a simple local anasthetic procedure to remove it and then some sort of cream to put on it after that. She's totally fine now and is just extra careful about using sun cream and stuff.

Hi,
I also had a basal cell carcinoma but on my neckline. I was given a cream/lotion which I believe burnt it off and then a scab formed. Afterwards I had to use a special antibiotic cream to heal the wound and stop infection. It was quite a straighforward process. As Liverpool 123 mentioned you will need to use a high factor suncream afterwards. Good luck and hope you get an appointment with the specialist soon.

Thank you for your reply, let's hope cream does the job for me. And I will be using factor 50 when the sun come out.
