  • Hi Zana, I love that you love the nature all around you. You make me think about just listening to the birds, which is good for me as I don't often just stop and listen, thank you. So glad you've not had any nasty side effects, I am really pleased for you.

Hi Lyn, lack of sleep is such a nightmare (pardon the pun) and sorry you're still in such pain.  Catch up soon.

    Linds x

  • Hi Anna71 my area has always been advised as small about 11mm but I have a satellite area around mine, does that mean the are of precancerous tissue surrounding it, and the amount of area they have to take to get good margins xx

  • [@Shazlarr]‍ , hi lovely. From what I experienced when they find 10 mm lump in breast I was given date for lumpectomy surgery, but when after MRI it changed to mastectomy as there was dcic precancer cells around in two different places of my breast. surgeon recommended mastectomy and i went for it. I hope your case will be different xx

  • Thank you, how is your treatment going now.  As I am reading it the satellite area is the area of tissue around it.  Mine been advised as 11mm with the satellite area taking it to 25mm.  Least they know how much tissue to take to get clear margins.  I can still have my theraputic mammoplasty as planned, I am having my surgery on Tuesday.  What was yr histology results pls xx

  • [@Shazlarr]‍ hi lovely, i compleeted 12 weeks of Paclitaxel weekly chemotherapy, now continue Trastuzumab every three weeks for one year. My histology results was Paget ,stage 1 no lymph node involved, 10 mm IDC , 1 mm clear margins. Her 2 positive , Er and PR negative. Thats the reason why i had chemo (Her2 positive grade3 ) .very good luck with your surgery, its chemo in your treatment plan? X

  • Hi thankyou, at the moment I know mine is 11mm, lymph nodes looked fine on ultrasound and mri, it's ER 8/8 and PR 7/8, showed as breast distortion on mammogram which is I believe is the satellite area, had a vacuum biopsy to diagnose. Awaiting Her2, and grade 2 IDC.  Could you feel yrs I cannot.  Was advised about radiotherapy but not chemo but will depend on histology results.  I have been started on hormone meds already.  Will you take hormone meds xx

  • [@Shazlarr]‍ hey, because of ER and PR 0 its means hormone receptors negative iam not on hormonal tablets , but Her 2 positive brought me to chemo and injections for a year. How i find out that i have cancer : i had slightly inverted nipple and  it was dry a bit and after my GP send me to breast clinic it was in January 2021. In March i had mastectomy ... Stage it's important in any cancer case , grade its how fast cancer its growing so my it's aggressive but its how its . Because i hd mastectomy, radio not in my treatment plan xx

  • Hi my symptom was nipple discharge.  Never been able to feel mine, have always been advised its small 11mm. Ultrasound on my lymph nodes showed them fine and they also looked fine on my mri. Was you advised your lymph nodes were fine  did you have ultrasound on yours.  Since I have been on letrozole my nipple discharge got less and less and now nothing for over a week.  Theraputic mammoplasty tomorrow with my other side being reduced at same time. Do you work at all xx

  • [@Shazlarr]‍ , yes my lymph node was fine on MRI but before surgery i got ink true nipple and one node was removed for check together with all breast . I took sick leave while i had mastectomy then i went back yo work , then i was off from work when started chemo for few weeks, then went to part time to work as i had weekly chemo and two days a week i have to go to hospital. My tumor was 7 mm after ultrasound but then changed to 10 mm after surgery report. I wish you smooth surgery tomorrow and take it as it is. I hope your her2 will be negative. Good luck for tomorrow i will be thinking about you. Xxx

  • Hi I have a satellite lesion, I know its 11mm at the moment.  But with the satellite Keston it takes it to 25mm, so similar to yrs. Did they say that's the area of tissue around the tumour to take.  I am having a theraputic mammoplasty, hope your treatment is going well xx
