  • @Lyn, very good morning how are you ? Did you managed to sleep last night ? How you feel today by now you should see all chemo picture. Iam going back to work from next week Thursday for two days a week, it will keep me busy a bit before chemo. Its very springery thie days and pushing to gp out for a walks and fresh air . I hope you doing well , take care of yourself. XxxZana

  • @Anna71, Hi Z, no change from tuesday, a bit of a jittery tum but that's all at the moment - fingers crossed, got a slight metallic taste which started last night, that will be the Carboplatin in the chemo mix I suppose. Well done you for getting back to work part time, it will get your mind focussed on something else other than upcoming treatment. I’m walking every morning early, and in the evening too, hopefully I can keep it up until some nastier side effects appear, I LOVE springtime, seeing all the trees and shrubs come into leaf and the daffodils and other bulbs coming up. Being very fair skinned I prefer it to summer in a lot of ways. You take care, have a lovely day Z.  Lyn. XX

  • @Lyn, hello how are you lady Lyn, how you feel today? What a beautiful sunny day for us to enjoy spring time , did you went for a walk? I did, i went for a long walk with my friend and at some point i even forgot that i have cancer. Im counting my days to 29 th to find out pathology results after surgery, yesterday i give blood for genetic test and will have results in 4 weeks . At the momen life its around hospitals .... i hope you not effected by chemo very bad and keep going keep going xxxZ

  • [@Anna71]‍  Hi Z, Feeling very rough today, nausea, lower leg pain, awful metallic taste in the mouth, so food is not appetising, not been out for a walk today. Only 10 days to your path result, that will soon come around, what is the genetic test? Take care & keep smiling. Lyn. XX

  • @Lyn, genetic test to be done because my mum had sarcoma at some point in her life and my grandmother from dads side had breast cancer and she died in very early age . So they would like to check for BRAC if iam carrying cancer gens from family. I can feel you not great today and chemo click you at day 3 . No much even to say apart iam thinking about you xxZ

  • [@Anna71]‍ crikey Z, Everything crossed you are not carrying the gene. I’m feeling a bit rough, but not too bad, it could be worse. I love my food, so when I can’t enjoy it I’m miserable! Thanks for being there. Lyn. XX

  • @Lyn, hello my Her2 + friend i hope you doing ok , its a week after you first chemo , how you coping all this time , how you find this hard ? I feel constantly tired and squeezed, all breast and part of chest it's painful , its not as simple as i was first week. Every day its new day and iam taking day by day and hoping to feel better tomorrow. Take care Lyn , wish you all the best in this journey. X Z

  • [@Anna71]‍  Hi Z, Feeling a lot better today, almost back to normal, the worst thing was horrendous stomach cramps that had me doubled over in pain, the awful metallic taste in the mouth is not as bad as it was. Eating is okay except for the stomach cramps afterwards. Going to the loo is fine, neither ‘loose’ nor constipated. Saturday  & sunday were definitely the worst days. Hoping I can continue feeling like this until round 2! Feeling 1000% better today. How are you? 6 days to results........ takes care Zana. Lyn. XX

  • @Lyn , hello iam so glad to hear you feeling better today , i guess week one challenge its over !you will have now two weeks break and back to challenge 2 thats your temporary life plan . Today i was driving first time after surgery it was creepy, iam very slow as for movement and as generally everything takes time : to shower to dress , house work ...yes 29th Monday will go for pathology results not looking forward, there is not any good outcome as chemotherapy its guaranteed no matter what .its that day i will know when i will start next step ? Not to sure... wish you beautiful day and good walk if you can . Take care , speak soon . X Z

  • [@Anna71]‍  Hi Z, You’re doing so well - driving already! I haven’t driven yet, mind you - nowhere to go at the moment, just the hospital, and hubby always takes me. Things do take extra time for sure, some movements are just painful for weeks after surgery, as the swelling went down completely on my breast my expander has got more painful, I’m going to mention it at my next appointment. You have a lovely day too, will probably go for a walk late afternoon. Will be thinking if you on monday. Take care Z. Lyn. XX
