Hi there I have just been diagnosed with bowel cancer I had a colonoscopy Ct and MRI scan over the past 2 weeks I am waiting to find out what my treatment plan will be . Anxious times is anyone else going through the same on here ?
Hi, I was diagnosed yesterday, awaiting CT scan on Thursday to see if it has spread. I am 61 and totally shocked and devastated. Where are you at now with your treatment and how are you coping?
is such a shock I know I was convinced I had IBS but was told today it had spread from the bowel to the cervix, urethra and liver so shock all round. Start chemo soon and will know more when I meet the team soon . the staff are so lovely and keep you so informed and you can call them when you need to you will have a named nurse keep me posted and good luck x

Thank you for your message, yes a shock but I am sure once the chemo starts I will be on the track to beating it or at least shrinking it and then be able to have the operations needed xxx
