Hi Dave I am just over 2 years post radiotherapy for tonsil cancer with several affected lymph nodes.i have a blog which may answer some of yiur questions www.radioactiveraz.wordpress.com. Quite ofyern the tumour could be hidden inside your tonsil crypt mine was. Onjy symoton I had was a raised ky oh node in my collar bo e I wasn’t the fittest I had ever been felt really healthy it was a shock to me. Thentreatments hard but if I can do it anyine can there a well tested time line ,if I can help just ask

Hi hazel thanks for your reply I have had my body scan so waiting on results as it stands I have to tonsils out and radiotherapy fingers crossed that is all I need although not looking forward to tonsillectomy but always stay on the positive side

looks like ive joined the club just been diagnosed with throat cancer and in lymph node having the Gold Sevice apparntly 7 weeks of radiation and Chemo at the same time fiding all this a bit daunting to be honest

sorry to hear you have joined our club but do keep positive I was supposed to have tonsils out then have radiotherapy this week but instead I had a heart attack so in hospital dealing with that and the cancer and ops have to wait but on a plus side I'm still here so keep positive keep fighting we don't know what is next
