My Dad has a similar lesion on his cheek was told the nhs won't remove it, because of the location it would interfere with wearing a mask!!! He lives in West Sussex so he had it removed privately last week cost £1000.

Hi. I would be really grateful if you could also share the info on the clinic with me, please? I had a BCC removed about 15 years ago at the side of my nose. Waited so long for treatment that it grew quite big and I had to have skin graft. I now have one on the tip of my nose and I am really depressed at the thought of having to wait for so long again. Just because it's in such an obvious place.

Hello, please would you be so kind as to tell me where you went for mohs surgery in the North West.  I have been told I need this type of surgery and reconstruction too as I have a BCC on the side of my nose.  I have been referred to a hospital but their waiting list is ridiculously long.  Thank you, Debra

Sorry to bother you as I know you are getting a lot of requests for this. My brother is awaiting removal of a bcc. It is on his scalp and although he is not elderley he is bald. He is therefore anxious to get the best cosmetic result. We are in the North West and if you could tell me where your treatment was carried out it would be a great help. He is thinking of going private as he is anxious to get it over and done with and is getting very stressed, not sleeping well etc. If you need to send a friend request and message me privately that would be fine.

Hi, jumping on the back of this message trail. Please could I also be provided with details of the clinic in the North West thanks.  My dad had skin cancer removed from the side of his face but it's since returned. He has already waited 6 months on the NHS and it's now spread near his eye so I'm keen to get him seen as soon as possible.
