I've a broadly similar diagnosis to you.  I was seen in the BC clinic for initial mammo, ultrasound and biopsies on the Friday, MRI following Tues, results Weds and saw the onc the following Weds so a week and half following initial scans and one week after official results.  Official diagnosis was 31st July last year and chemo started 29th August with a holiday, blood tests, echo scan, bone scan and more ultrasound and MRIs & biopsies in between.  Suspect could have started earlier but wanted a holiday before things really got motoring re treatments.

I hope your work are as understanding as mine, once the chemo started I was able to work part time when I wanted and was given project work to do as more suitable than usual job (office job).  When I exhausted company sick pay was paid for hours worked until company insurance (so lucky to have this) kicked in and also received employment support allowance.  Your work should be giving you time off for appointments etc.  May be worth a chat with MacMillan who are very good at explaining your rights, benefits etc if you suspect that may be an issue?
