Diagnosed invasive ducal stage 2, grade 3, inflammatory BC and ER+ In RHS end July 2019.
Completed 4 EC with no real challenges, first (of 4) paclitaxel not so enjoyable though due to peripheral neuropathy so switched back to the relatively lovely EC and completed course 27th Dec. Surgery 13th Feb (mastectomy RHS & WLE in LHS). As SNB found to have cancerous nodes full node clearance 12th March (4 of 8 nodes found to be cancerous). Finished radiotherapy (16 lots) end May 2020.
Am also taking Letrozole for 10 yrs. & receiving Zolodex injections for god only know how long - phew its a full time and expensive job this cancer lark. Will also be having biphosphonates every 6 months for 3 1/2 yrs.
DIEP reconstruction Dec 2020, phase 2 Dec 2021.
I am a suitably irreverent and tough northerner and am not for the faint hearted.
