Sorry to hear your in pain post op. I had a bilateral lumpectomies and reconstruction and luckily had no pain associated with the operation. Have you discussed the pain with your breast nurse?

I think a lot of us breast ladies worry about spread but so far you've got the all clear on bones as for the small nodules on the lungs, these are fairly common and doesn't mean your cancer has spread. I had a look online and found this

Difficult to say why 'chronic' is written on your discharge letter without the context but cancer is a chronic condition and will require further treatment - so perhaps in relation to this? If its really bothering you, you could ask your GP to explain.

Try not to jump to conclusions, they won't help you. Your doing well so far, you've come through the operation and you should find it heals in the coming weeks. So now its the next stage of treatment but you'll get through that too.

Im sorry to hear you are going through so much pain but it will start to ease.  Do speak to your nurse to see if they can give you anything else to ease the discomfort.

Like you, Im 49 years old and 2 weeks pro mastectomy.  Ive just had my results and was told Im now grade 3 as its spread to my lymph notes so waiting on a ANC on 10 Sept.  Im in complete shock as I was told my ultrasound and MRI there was no sign of spread. 

Ive  now been referred for a CT scan so Im petrified its spread further.   Cant sleep and just think the worst.  I know they are doing this to be thorough and to determine my course of treatment but this waiting is a nightmare!  How soon did you get your CT date and results?

Ive already had an Oncotype check and my recurance score is very low so was told Chemo wouldnt be suitable but this may now change depending on these new results.

I just dont know how im going to manage this but know I need to be strong for my husband and two girls.

Thank you for writting back I am usually a very strong willed lady, I will not let this beat me I will fight it hard 

And with what I have been through with my husband already this year he had aggressive myeloid leukemia 

The pain is very bad Im afraid from surgery, I'm right handed as well which is not helping,

They have not given me a date as of yet for my CT scan, just said it will be 3 mths time, 

I wish you beautiful woman speedy recovery like me,

I 'm sorry to hear about your husband, what an awful year for you all. Glad your strong willed and up for a fight, I found handing all of that over to the specialists to fight on my behalf far more beneficial and I just focused on being positive, which took me a long way plus a sense of humour works well too.

Where is the pain? I did experience a little pain from the lmph nodes removal sites but it went after about a week but no pain in my breasts. I would take this up with the nurse or GP.

I had axillary lymph node clearance  and some mussel removed,

I have fibromyalgia  which does not help, And epilepsy
