Ho all , just popprd on to say i had my operation on Tuesday 16th June a lumpectomy and all my lymph nodes.were removed from my right arm.I did have a drain and had low blood pressures, so i was kept in that night, but went home the nxt day
I was scared to loik at my breast, but my surgeon said 'you will have to look at it at some point".So.i looked and was amazrd at what a fantastic job my surgeon had done.
Im sore but im doing well at home. Im so relieved its all been done, and hoping that i don't need any more breast tissue taken away. The surgeon has said it looked good when she xrayed the tumour and the margin of breast tissue that had been cut away, but it still has to be sent to pathology laboratory to be checked , and if there are any cancer cells showing up on the edge o the f breast tissue , i may need another operation to remove more breast tissue. But im hoping its not the case. So if anyone is worried about having the same operation, it really isnt as bad as you are thinking it will be.
