Hi
I recently had a mammogram, called back and shown a small area 5ml it was white in colour with what I describe white feins coming off it, I was told I needed a biopsy then the radiologist, said he has seen areas like this which he believes is a probable cancer and I needed biopsies on the fein like areas call microcalfications, I asked if he was saying I had breast cancer? He said I do recgonise cancers in my job role, I then had biopsies on the microcalfications, I was then asked to speak to a breast nurse who explained my results will be back in 4 days and she would contact me.... This was 2 days ago, I am asking is this normal practice to say this to me because he recognised a cancer in me or do they say this? I can handle this if I have but awake because I am not clear on what he said though he said that, and I just want honest answers please
