I am not a doctor but I have a friend who is.

On one occasion we were chatting about health screening and blood tests, and he told me that whenever a doctor does a panel of blood tests, even on the most healthy of patients, there will always be one which is apparently out of range but which has no significance.  It's just a blip.  

Your GP is being cautious, and rightly so, but this may simply be nothing more than a blip in your readings.  Try not to worry - difficult I know.
