Hi, I had a ct scan that showed the cancer had not spread but now I have received a letter saying I need an mri scan do I need to be worried or is this a precaution has anyone else had this .
Hi chubchub, what your having is quite normal. I started with ultrasound, then x-ray, then ct and Mri, each scan shows slightly different things so experts can see exactly what they are dealing with in very great detail. The more they know the better to treat properly.
