Hi their, was wondering if anyone has ever had any abnormal results from a full blood count/thyroid or any blood tests that have came back different before lung cancer diagnosis?
Glad you can manage financially and that you are finding lots to do. I'm going a little crazy tbh and all this worry on top isn't helping. My nerve pain is in spine and neck and up into face now so very scary and unpleasant.
I had a breast lump spotted on CT which was biopsied so have call with results on Friday. Waiting to talk to GP surgery about what we can do next to find out what's happening. I've been referred for an MRI but that will likely be months and I need that sooner as can't work, drive etc in this mess
My dad went for routine blood tests and received a phone call of the doctor a week later stating the nurse hadn't took enough blood and can he come back for more to be done (we now know they did have enough blood but didn't want to worry him) so he went for 2nd bloods an this time they also asked for a stool sample so all done . Anyway his doctor rang him and said they found blood in his stool and he was going to be going for the camera up his backside , he's also received a letter and phone call of the cancer clinic asking him to go in in December as a abnormality had been found in his blood samples and they need to discuss it with him . Now I know they don't send you to the cancer clinic if it isn't cancer do they ? Also he's been coughing for almost 2 years and he's been sent for a ct scan of his lungs pelvis and abdominal area next week . So that's we're we're at we won't find out anything untill Decembers appointment , but what are people's thoughts ? Anyone exsperianced this before . So there's blood in his stools coughing constantly abnormalities in his blood test so the receptionist said appointment there in 5 weeks , also lost a lot of weight barely eats and seems runs down no energy no zest for life . I'm prepared I would just like some opinions of what we're looking at x
