Hi rached I'm very similar to your father psa 1581 prostate gone to lymph nodes, spine, ribs, pelvis and a lung was diagnosed Feb 2016 went straight onto hormone therapy but could have cemo which help to shrunk cancer. Classed as palliative care. I'm guessing your father isn't very well so can't have cemo I'm so sorry about that.. Best wishes.... Billy 

Thank you Billy! he has a heart condition which means chemo isnt an option for him. he is 72 and feeling really well its hard to beleive looking at him that he has so much cancer in his body! 

did your treatment stop your cancer from spreading and have you been keeping well? i know each person is different and we cant compare but its nice to hear from others in almost exactly the same circumstances.

Hi rachey yes treatment stopped it its actually receded slightly over the years. I was actually working (metal fabrication and welding) till last year 2018 Christmas, have to look after my disabled wife she needs 24 /7 care she has Alzheimers and parkinsons. Or I'd probably still be working I'm 68. So sorry your father has heart troubles.....

im sorry about your wife that is very difficult. shes blessed that she has you to care for her. life throws very difficult times at people and sounds like youve had a hard few years.
