Gleason 4+3=7

Can a Gleason 4+3 =7 metastasize?

I've been sent to do bones scanning  therefore I consider all potential problems.

Thanks a lot for Your attention and answer(s)

Best regards for all of You

  • Hi Pawel1968,

Unfortunately I'm not able to answer this, but I would suggest you discuss this with your doctor at your next appointment - they are always best placed to advise.

    Wishing you all the best,

  • Hi pawel, you don't say if you've had biopsy though more than likely or ct, Mri scan, psa - - - the more details the more we can compare what treatment we've had.. Hopefully bone scan is just to make sure your clear........

  • My PSA in 26 of October was 6.7

My Gleason score after biopsies in December showed 4+3=7

    Plus,I did  MRI as well,obviously

    MRI results,showed a prostate cancer,just on right side,at bottom

  • Hiya just read your post and you must be feeling so scared my hubby was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2010 he had first had the blood test called a PSA which should have been around 7 for his age it was 125 so alarm bells rang and he was sent for biopsy which confirmed prostate cancer i am sure his gleeson score was 9 he was told then it's more than likely matazised into other organs we got told he could have hormone treatment we complained to a nurse about the doctor as he had put my hubby in his coffin before considering any test or treatment my hubby told the next consultant I want you to check if it's spread so he had scans and no it hadn't he had radiotherapy to help and it did and hormone tablets and they were really pleased with him they told him in the end prostate cancer will die with you you won't die of it and they were right he got a work related cancer in 2015 mesothelioma and that killed him he died in 2018 I hope I have given you a bit of reasurance I no everones body is different and can act different but keep your chin up laugh loads that is so good to keep positive I have just been diagnosed with womb cancer but I'm keeping busy and positive and laugh loads hope to hear from you jillx
