I have just been given the bad news that I have vaginal cancer just below my cervix. As I have had a lot of smear tests and colposcopy appointments the last two year I'm still in shock this was missed! From what they can see now they are hopefully it's an early stage (the area that they saw at my colposcopy was very small and I don't have any symptoms). The most likely treatment is radiotherapy and not surgery. As this apparently is a super rare cancer especially my age group (I'm 32) not sure if there is anyone here to share their experience with me? I'm super anxious that they will find other areas or that it has already spread even though they said it's very unlikely.
