Hi this is Hazel I am now 15 month post radiotherapy for tonsil cancer so welcome to the club no one really wants to join .

honestly the treatment can be brutal remember itsbthe miuth we do everything with our mouths eat sleep breath talk  recovery can be varied but this last 2 month I’ve xyxled over 800 km in Spain .i had 2 chemotherapy and 35 radiotherapy sessions.

Hi

my husband is a bit ahead of you in treatment as he is having TORS surgery tomorrow which will be followed by radiotherapy- he has tonsil cancer on right side typed as T1 N2 M0 hpv16 - part of a trial in London called PATHOS 

we have been inondated with info but not really spoken to anyone who is further ahead or finished treatment- also have a skin graft from his inner forearm in his throat .... I know we have hard times ahead - being we are bit ahead of you hopefully we can provide some useful info along the way - if anyone who has had this treatment reads this please pass on your experiences 

i am myself a survivor of leukaemia so we find ourselves back in the cancer arena .... 

very confident with the team my husband is under but scary stuff

I just wanted to thank you for the support you give without knowing, my husband was diagnosed on the 28th November with tonsil cancer and we just feel helpless waiting for appointments. Hazel your blog has been so helpful thank you.
