my results were good lymph nodes and margin all clear so just radiotherapy and tablets now - so relieved !! 

Altiapa - you were right it was just a change of appointment

Hello, thanks for asking! Unlike most of our appointments, last biopsies were clear! At least positive news. I am due to start Tamoxifen inmediately but still had hematomas(?) from op#2 and s I will wait a bit. 

Oncologist suggested a prompt start whilst waiting for radio. Have you heard opinions about this? The surgeon did suggest the opposite. Radio first then Tamoxifen.

I guess our next chapter and chats will be Radio related!

I saw Oncologist last week and she’s happy for me to start after radiotherapy but think maybe they are all different in their outlooks on it....

My appointment to see oncologist isn’t until 4 Nov which seems a huge wait ...

That does seem a bit of a long time but I guess it’s only 4 weeks....I suppose you will have to have tattoos after you’ve seen oncologist? and then they work out a schedule for your Radiotherapy,they told me mine would be well over a week but I have a date to start which is 14th October!!! 

How you doing on your tablets and how’s your pain?

They haven’t said anything yet and now I’m worried it’s going to be mid Nov at least and then almost up to Xmas !

i haven’t been yet I go this Saturday!!! I went a week ago today for my tattoos and saw the Oncologist on 16th September but I got a phone call later that day to give me appointment,so hopefully you won’t have to wait too long to go and get your tattoos and they’d given me my start date....

i think in some ways the waiting is the worst because when you get there it’s not as bad as you think,guess it’s the fear of the unknown.....

Youll be done before Christmas and can be waited on!!

ive not started my tablets yet as they said leave them until I’ve been on my holiday!!
