Hi pj just thinking (I do now and again) could you get a string going for others who might have to follow in your footsteps,, (or wellies) so others have an idea of what to come,, when you're feeling up to it of course without mentioning cigs of course,, try keeping to things your supposed to do, it would be very useful, and take your mind of the naughty things best wishes for the future.. I'm not brave at all, i just did what i had to do really, it was a no brainer to go for the surgery.

 Today i got the phone call with the lung nurse from the surgery hospital, i had already discussed with her while i was in that i wanted my pathology results over the phone so she gave me them. It was indeed cancer and although i don't know how many lymph nodes were removed, well it has spread to them so next step is a meeting with original hospital once they have "discussed me" and it looks like i will be going down the chemo route, that is scaring me more than the surgery i think. Obviously i don't know all the ins and out yet but i'm pretty sure i will soon.

I was secretly hoping that i wouldn't need to do that but c'est la vie as they say.
