I got a letter this morning to say that my chemo starts on 17th July. I'm not sure how I feel about it. I know I need it but I'm not looking forward to it. Just hope it works and I can complete the course xxx

Hello,
have you had your chemo introduction talk yet? Do you know what you will be on? I was so so scared on chemo day.....it's the fear of the unknown....but honestly, once you get that first one done the rest do get easier somehow......my actual chemo days were fine, they pump you with all sorts of goodies and I felt pretty good, it only hit me a few hours later, but I would go straight to bed and crash out.....a friend of mine tolerated chemo very well and was able to continue work throughout, so you see, we're all different......just take it a day at a time....stock up on difflam mouth wash and good hand/foot cream.....
let us know how you get on, I'm here should you need to chat xxxx
Thanks for the help guys xxx
