strangley I had a deep knowing my lump was cancerous as soon as I found it, although all the experts kept saying it was a fibroadenoma all I kept thinking was..no it's not....

As soon as your on your treatment plan things will settle.....it's astonishing what your capable of.... let us know how things go? Xxx

Marlyn, I have the appointment Tuesday for biopsy results.

I called the macmillan nurse to double check that I understood right, she said scans and mamogram show it as cancer, the biopsy is just to confirm the treatment. 

Been back to work today as I've nothing else to do. Just the waiting for the treatment plan and full diagnosis is hard. 

I think going into work is the best thing.....it's all such a whirl isn't it? If you get a mo let us know how it goes on tues? Xx

Hi, at the breast clinic you will first see the consultant who will check out your lump, then it's off for a mammogram then possibly an ultrasound and then possibly a biopsy of some sort...this is called a triple assessment and is very thorough.....before you go home they may be able to give you a good idea of what's what...

I've a big anniversary party June 1st and hoped I would be fit and well enough to enjoy that.

It's only five wks away, been planning it a whole year. 

Any advice to anyone in the same Position, pre surgery?
