Im so sorry to hear about your dads diagnosis with this awful disease, It’s very hard news to take in.  It’s good that you have 2 sisters you can talk to and share your anger, frustration and pain with. The journey before you all will be hard :( 

As steph said, My dad was diagnosed the beginning of December after lots of trips to the GP for a persistent cough/ chest infection. His prognosis is 3-7 months.

We’re all devastated and still trying to get our heads around it, he had his 2nd session of  (palliative) chemo on 17th Jan and has been very poorly since. He’s decided he won’t have anymore chemo, his body just isn’t well enough. So for now, we’re trying to be as positive as we can for dad.  Everyday we have with him Is precious, one day will be really good, the next will be tiresome and filled with tears, you just have to go with the flow and allow your dad to feel what he’s feeling.

It’s hard watching someone you love so much suffer like this but being there, with him every step of the way will make all the difference for him!
