Lots of ladies on here have, although I haven't and have often wondered why....it's hard not to let our imaginations run wild....I am certain someone will pick your thread up and reassure you....take care and keep us posted? Xxx

Yes, I am trying not to over analyse the possibility of the team looking for cancer spread.

Lumpectomy went well, was home by 5 pm, the NHS have been marvellous....just a wait now to see what grade etc....

Your right about over analysing things, I do constantly, every ache, pain throb is obviously the cancer spreading! I drive my husband nuts...poor man.

I have wondered why some ladies have different scans, perhaps I will have to have some after my results, then I will over analyse that!

So happy it went well.  You are brave, positive and you will be well again. 

I think under the circumstances we are all guilty over analysing things. I am in that place right now, just hoping the PET scan shows nothing serious.

I had a pet scan on the 27th December, take head phones with you I was very bored waiting the hour on my own, there so worth having I was terrified the cancer was somewhere else but I got the good news it wasn’t. Do it this way you will know and the oncologist consultant will know how to treat you to save you x 

Thank you for your reply. I'm so glad your PET came back clear. I hope my scan is soon. I was told this was being done to establish the right treatment plan. Headphones sound like a good idea-thanks!
