Hi Marlyn thanks for your reply and sorry to hear of what you’re going through. You’re so right about emotions. I’m generally a really positive person but am finding it hard to maintain that right now. My GP has been marvellous and prescribed me painkillers as he thinks I might have an infection from my biopsy. Maybe once my pain is managed my mood may change too. My CT scan has been brought forward to tomorrow then it’s a further wait of another week to find the results of my primary source of cancer.

Thank you, one of my residents has a cold so I have been wearing a surgical mask on my rounds....I don't care how silly it looks....

Happy New Year and best wishes for 2019!

My sentinal node biopsy didn't go ahead! Now next Monday. I am now on antibiotics for a sinus infection. They didn't want to put me under general anaesthetic.  

I asked my BC nurse about CT & Bone scan results, and she said she'd check on Thursday (obviously New Year Holiday until then), but also said it could be NEXT week before the MDT meet to discuss. I am not quite sure how they can think it's ok for me to wait that long! 

I wish I could push it on but seems unlikely ! Xxx 

Oh that's poop! So you have almost a week to shake off the infection....then more waiting then wait a bit more.....blimey...if there's one thing we have mastered it's blimmin waiting! 

In the meantime ( in amongst all the waiting) we will prop each other up and share our experiences, a problem shared is a problem halved....
