  • Hi John

Can’t offer anything much but...I do believe in the power of prayer and I am praying for you both.

It’s no wonder that you’re both all over the place what with everything that’s gone on...from your diagnosis to your surgery.

It sounds like they have a plan for this, John...what with this surgery. Do you know when it will be?

Have they spoken with you about any other treatment options, for example - after surgery?

What you say about low survival...there are people beating the odds every day with cancer (you see them popping up on this site).

Are you in the UK, John? I imagine it’s so difficult leaving your surgeon with perhaps many questions still, confusion and anxiety. Cancer Research have a dedicated nurse helpline: 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm and Macmillan Cancer Support have a support line 0808 808 0000 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 8pm)....if you or your wife fancied calling someone caring and in the know about cancer.

Again - my thoughts and prayers are with you both x x
