I'd like to have some info from other people experiencing this illness.
Hi everyone, I really need some info about the way you have been treated. My mum has a stage 4 ovarian cancer ( low part of the right lung, womb).
She has having a quite good response with carboplatin taxol and now the oncologist suggested to add Bevac to her therapy.
The surgeon before sending her to the oncologist to complete a 3-month chemo states that they will proceed with a CT exam and, after with the surgery, of about 6/9 hours depending on the final result after this 3-months treatment.
Now the oncologist changed the plan, adding this bevac and talking about a 4-month therapy with the idea that the surgery will never be done.
Is it possible he changes the plan like this? He has no even asked for their advice before telling me that. How can it be possible?
