I'm sorry that the results have shown that the mass is bigger than first thought but fingers crossed the lumpectomy and radiation therapy will be successful when you start treatment at the end of the month.

It can be tough waiting for treatment to begin as so many of our members here know and hopefully some of them will stop by when they can to offer their support and advice.

A positive attitude really does help in times like these so I'm glad you're maintaining this outlook and I'm sure our community will help you to keep it going once your treatment begins.

Sorry the lump is larger but glad you can still go for lumpectomy and radiotherapy.

The 10 days will go faster than you think (sure I'm not telling you anything you don't know) but I do get that it will feel great to get it cut out.

Maybe set yourself a plan now for each day so your days are filled up and seem to go quicker.  And, of course, make those plans as fun as you can!

It's like life is put on hold while all of this is sorted. And I'm having to go through it all on my own as I'm single and no family near to help.

The hospital team have been fantastic but it's the weekend and I have time to dwell on things. So glad I found the forum to put my mind at rest.
