Hi there ... Just popped on to say your not alone ... We all have different cancers and are on different paths but the one thing we have in common is we all want to kick cancers butt ... 

It is like a really scary rollercoaster we all have to get on ... But we're all on there together, holding on tight ... There's lots on here pushing through bad sinarios and are still here defying the odds ... 

Cancer wants us all to lay down and just give in .. and yes it's one of the hardest things to ever go through, so know those feelings are normal for you both ... But hold his hand and try not to look to far ahead ... Try to live in the day ... Tackle things as and when they pop up ... Don't Google as that always gives the worst case sinario.... Don't be afraid to admit your scared , we all are in those early days ... 

But after that get a pair of boxing gloves on ... Stand up and look it in the eye and trade it blow for blow ..you can do this ... Together ...

You're definitely not alone.  As Chriss says we're all in different situations with different treatments but ultimately we're all fighting the fight for our lives.  Well give moral and practical support where we can but obviously it makes sense that you'll also want to speak to people with a similar diagnosis or treatment plan.

With that in mind it might be helpful to do another post with the cancer type / or treatment type in the subject line.  If my experience is anything to go by you can be away from the forum for days, come back to loads of posts, and not have time to read them all so you filter through by whatever you feel like that day.  I think it helps pick it up on the search function too if anyone ever searches for someone going through similar (which could be long after your post has 'fallen off' the first page).

I imagine it's particularly scary seeing someone at the peak of their fitness hit in this way, especially with young ones to keep care of.  All I can say is that focussing on what you can control, rather than what you can't, can help you through some aspects of it.

thank you both for the kind words and I will most def post with the he title as suggested maybe there are others out there in the meantime I will keep everyone posted of our journey fighting this in our family we have had a few cancer survivors so in a way we are familiar with the big C but having my husband away mainly in hospital an hour away and the young ones won’t be easy I just hope we keep our sanity each day and pull through together. 

You'll always find a listening ear here ... we can't take it away but we can understand ... so just pop back as and when you need it ... you never know just how strong you are till you look back ... 

Cancer has no conscience,  no empathy ... makes no excemption ... so crule ... that's why wer all here, just holding on ... and supporting .. our hearts are with you ...  Chrissie
