Hi Raeskarma. Sorry to hear your diagnosis. I was diagnosed stage 1b invasive in March. Had 2 lumpectomys in the same breast and sentinel lymph node removal. Due to the positioning of the tissue to be removed my largest scar on my breast runs right down the side. The other is just outside my arm pit. I've been reassured by other breast ladies on here that these scars will fade in time. However in one way I quite like them as they tell me every day that I'm kicking cancers butt! I started radiotherapy today and will have 15 sessions in all. Im also on tamoxifen for 5 years as my cancer was ER+. Right after my diagnosis I was in shock and panic ...but this has gone as I've moved through treatments. A lot of the ladies here also say they settled into their diagnosis and treatment also and we live, talk and laugh on here every day. I'm not going to say it's easy....its not and some days are harder than others. But it is doable. Give yourself a bit of time hun. And if you need or want to chat and talk through your feelings there are a great bunch of ladies on here some of whom are several years post treatment and are healthy and cancer free. Breast cancer has one of the quickest treatment pathways and the best outcomes. You can beat this hun you really can. We are here if you need us x

Wow , beautiful words . I was diagnosed today!! And the feeling is one I can’t explain. First you cry then you think you’re going to beat this then you cry again . ROLERCOASTER . For me I think surgery and Hormones Th. And radiation. Horrible
