Bcg treatment

Hi I'm new to the website. I've just turned 48 and had bladder cancer diagnosed last October. I am on week 3 of BCG treatment and hope I can get some advice on how to cope with the pain . Each week has been more painful than the last . I'm finding it hard holding off going to the toilet and when I do go it's literally every 5 minutes and it's agony . All the burning pain is unbearable and I can't sit or lie down for the first two to three hours after treatment. Is there anything I can do to help with the pain . I'd be very grateful for any advice. Thanks

    Sorry to hear that .I've just finished 21 treatments .and I took cocodamol 30 and ibuprofen before each treatment and after aswell until it eased off .plus I drank plenty of warm water .and found going out training on my bike as much as possible .found keeping fit was the key for me .hope all goes well
