Breast cancer stage 1

Was diagnosed fri

stage 1 breast cancer 6mm

op 22nd Dec

  • Luckily I don't work and hubby self employed

so I can make all the appointments

  • Wow you've got enough there to keep you busy! We're very lucky to have so many people to love and who love us back.

You just have to believe you'll be okay. You can do this - you got this.xx

  • Completely agree with Jbains, you can do this. i did and I’m useles with stuff like this.

  • Sorry to hear of your dignosis. I was diagnosed 3 years ago ( I was 29) with Stage 1 BC has 1.5cm tumour removed followed by radiotherapy and 5 years Tamoxifen. I still get nerve pain in my side from the lymph node removal and sometimes in my boob. but i was "lucky" not to have to go through chemo.

I was dignosed Just before xmas 2014 so its awful to have to go through this around this time of year ( of course there is no good time)  Try and get your family and friends to do as much as possible for you. Most feel lost or useless and don't know what to say or do to help. Even asking them to do soemthing practical like get some groceries or hoover up. I made the mistake of trying to do things on my own. Try not to do this as you may cause yourself some serious damage (especially after surgery)

I found a lump recently and Had an MRI last week and they have requested I go back in for an Ultra sound tomorrow, Im obviously very worried but have good friends and family ( and a good partner thsi time round)

Good luck on your journey xx

  • Hi It's good to hear someone else's journey You were so young. I'm sorry to hear you found a lump will you let me know you are ok. I'm nearly 50 and I have a family history of breast cancer. Stay positive xx
