My partner just got diagnosed with very aggressive glioblastoma. He was driving a few weeks ago and generally very well, he started talking all mixed up and we thought he had a stroke and before you know it i'm being told there's nothing that can be done.
We were hoping to do some things together. But last night his legs gave way when he got up to go to the toilet and they haven't worked since. He's now in hospital and can't even turn himself over in bed. This has all happened so quick in the space of a week and i'm so lost.
Today we were meant to be going out, he wanted to speak to a few friends, and he wanted to buy me a ring. We've only been together less than 18 months. But now we can't and he's going downhill so fast.
He wants to come home but the hospital want to run more tests. And we don't have any equipment or anything here to look after him. I don't even know if he'll get to come home or if he'll even still be there when i go back to the hospital in the morning. I have a 9 year old daughter too and no family at all locally. I can't cope and don't know what to do...
