I was diagnosed with lung cancer in December 2008, I had surgery but never had chemotherapy although it's returned in both lungs now but because it's a rare form they just kept a eye on me until now they say it's growing and they want me in for a biopsy on Tuesday, I have had them done before in the past one went well but the last one they could not get a sample. There is talk about me having chemotherapy in the near future.
I am 43 and was diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer last May. When were you diagnosed? It takes time to come to terms with it. Do you have a treatment plan? Once treatment starts you will feel more optimistic.
