Over a space of 9 months I lost 5st I put it down to dress at work, then back in august I started with breath problems of which we put down a hiatus hernia as I suffer with acid reflex too, which effects my chest, went to docs quite a lot over the period of time in December I had chest infection and a week later still didn't feel any better so went back and nurse said my lungs were clear! But wanted me to go for X-ray that night so I did, on the Monday had a call from my doc to there was a shadow on my right lung and so had referred me to respiratory by wed I had an appointment with ct scan and consultant meeting on the 29th Dec 16 as to where they told me things were not good and was sent for biopsy the day after, 4th Jan 17 had results to where they told me I had stage 4 lung cancer ( non small cell cancer ) well the biggest smack in the mouth ever , but I'm on tablets now and have for 4 weeks now and all going good so far x
